“It was hard sitting here, in a place where my heart was broken at the same time restored “ alas she said it after 7 months of clean pretense.

She was in a coffee shop, a venue same as what the movies have told her.

She was alone, physically ,but in existence - never. For she and all her movements recall an image of “him”, a person once so destined for love , a person who called her great than most people ever thought of her, the “him” who made her believe that she is – for once- beautiful.

The coffee shop smelled well brewed coffee and the exposure of cakes were not that appealing to her, although it did remind her of the sweet talks she shared with “him”, but again she is alone, waiting for an order she first had a taste while he was around just in front of her in that small scaled table where he flushed out all his impressions and sorrows in love.

“And that I think is the saddest I’ve heard” she whispered as she tries to take a sip from an iced coffee that just arrived seconds after her short whisper.

“He told me, in a poetry form conversation that, he will wait for the time, for the right wonder to arrive, he said maybe we’ll meet at a cafe, reading the same book, drinking the same coffee, looking for the same thing all in all which is love” , it hurts so damn much when you can see her talking in her mind, it was an existentialism of psychological warfare circling in her brain. It keeps on hurting her because she was declined of love by her very friends, denied of love by the rumors they brought, the doubts and mistrust – they all add up and now she sits in this side of the table reminiscing that she should have said it, said the words “I love you” to end all this what if’s.

But in doing so, she must first die.

Leave everything behind in the physical world and be made complete by the thought of love alone.

But its quite unfair, you see the “him” in this story loved her truly, but people specially those who seemed wrong by their adoration with each other despise the fact that a background so unlike all backgrounds is refocusing the idea of two hearts trying to be at peace in love.

And now behold, in this world of uncertainty a beautiful story became a tragedy, not because of a heroic deed but because both main characters were challenged to die but in the end nobody ended up being lifeless - instead they were very much breathing.

But now, she must kill unhealthy thoughts inside of her, and change the course of her time- if the words “I love you” change, get him back or let him go , she would do it, she will do it to calm this blazing heart of hers.

The “him” can finally live a peaceful life, a memory – but like most main female lead, girls like her will be remembered.

Halfway through her drink her friends arrived, looking flashy and fresh from their makeup and trendy clothes. She stops thinking and remembers something else, home works, thesis, presentations and other exams.

He was gone all the sudden.

She smiled and laughed out loud when her friends mentioned not complying with any of the requirements because it was just so hard to balance everything.

He was out of her mind.

They proceeded to a much larger table and let out the notes they jot down during class.

She lost the thought of him.

He was gone but she wasn’t. She must die to fully engross in love but she chose to live for and by it, she chose to love herself because who else would do it better.

But she will never forget “him” – never ever- because of all the madness this love story brought her, losing him was not the striving force, it was her priorities and by definition love saved her.

You never forget them, you simply place them in a haven in your heart and keep on moving forward.

She wore a smile most girls will never wear after the man you love suddenly confesses he loved you for quite some time, but you didn’t see it coming.

She has the grace of a woman filled with dreams and love despite the hurting.

She loved “him” as no one ever loved her.

She has her priorities as the well as the “him” in her book.

She has a year more, while he was finally graduating.
